This unique program for use with children from infancy to age 5 provides up to two years of programming that can be integrated into all areas of a centre. Designed for flexible implementation, the Wings of Discovery® Early Years Program can be either a core program or complement existing programming. The program is currently in use in child care centres across Canada with a variety of program philosophies, including theme-based, emergent, High/Scope® and Montessori.
Wings of Discovery™ provides easy to use content and teaching tools, encourages use of found and blue-box materials. This program builds on children's natural curiosity about how the world works by providing a solid foundation for lifelong learning and interest in Science through the following publications:

Each Wings of Discovery® Early Years Project binder contains:
- 30 or more preschool activities that engage children in exploring and learning about the natural, physical and technological world and are integrated with art, math, language and music
- Activity suggestions for infants and toddlers that develop skills, age-appropriate conceptual awareness and vocabulary
- Educator resources and parent resources related to the project topic
- An innovative and flexible planning system
