The Science and Technology Activities Resource (STAR) Series (Grades 1 - 8) has been evaluated and approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education. The Series supports the revised Ontario Science and Technology Curriculum (2007) and is recommended in the Trillium List.
A Safety Rules Card has recently been developed for each of the Grades 3 - 8 to address the increasing concern of safety issues in conducting Science and Technology activities. As some schools may have purchased the STAR Series before the Safety Rules Card were available, GTK Press is making these Safety Rules available here for free download to all schools currently using the STAR Series.
